Nazarbayev charged to introduce amendments to Innovative Industrial Development Strategy
Astana. April 17. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev charged to introduce amendments to the Innovative Industrial Development Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015. The President gave the instructions during the meeting with the management and the government members, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.
"The leader of the state noted defects in the work on realization of the Strategy and charged to introduce amendments," the message of the press service informs. "The government needs to coordinate the work of the state bodies on realization of the Strategy effectively and to systematize the work on realization of the Program of 30 corporate leaders," N. Nazarbayev emphasized.
The President emphasized that the primary goal of the Strategy is to create alternative economy independent from the raw resources. "It is the main objective of the economic development. The future of our country depends on it," N. Nazarbayev said.
The President set the task "to strengthen the role of Kazyna Company and Social-Enterprise Corporations in assistance to business-community in realization of investment projects."
According to the press service, the leader of the state noted that within the development of the new Tax Code tax administration should be simplified and the level of taxation of non-raw sector should be lowered.
