Kazakhstan to adjust negotiation process of WTO introduction in view of situation in food market - Industry Minister
Astana. April 18. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan needs to adjust negotiation process regarding introduction to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in view of the situation in the world markets of food. The Minister of Industry and Commerce Vladimir Shkolnik stated today during the government meeting, the agency reports.
He said in the interview that taking into account the situation in the world markets it is necessary "to stimulate development of agriculture."
He emphasized that it does not mean that the terms of introduction of Kazakhstan to WTO will be changed. "We need to hold negotiations with five countries: India and Mongolia about debts, Australia - agricultural products, the USA and the European Union -the questions of access and unification of tariffs, agriculture and financial markets," V. Shkolnik noted.
