Astana. May 7. Kazakhstan Today - The audit system existing in Kazakhstan requires serious revision. The Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan Vladimir Shkolnik said during the government session on Tuesday, the agency reports.
"We with businessmen and foreign experts came to the unanimous conclusion that the existing audit system of small and medium enterprises requires serious revision as it does not correspond to the features of modern Kazakhstan economy," Shkolnik said.
"Search for any infringements at any cost cannot be the primary objective of audit," the Minister considers.
"The other side of this work should be formation of corporate understanding of economic benefits of legal behavior in the market. I think we will be able soon to present the government some ideas about how it can be done and what amendments need to be introduced to the legislation," V. Shkolnik concluded.
