Industry Ministry suggests toughening requirements to subsoil users in regards to planned purchases
Astana. May 8. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan suggests toughening requirements to subsoil users in regards to procurement information provided by them. Vice Minister of Industry and Commerce Edil Mamytbekov informed during the conference Development of Kazakhstan Content at the Market of Subsoil Use on Wednesday, the agency reports.
"We consider it necessary to toughen requirements to subsoil users in regards to full information on purchases regarding the necessities of extraction companies in commodities, works and services, E. Mamytbekov said.
"In this connection, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce intends to consider making collective decision with the Energy Ministry to bring subsoil users to account in accordance with the terms provided in the contracts up to cancellation of the deposits exploration contracts," he added.
Vice Minister underlined that "information on subsoil users violators will be forwarded to the president's administration and the government that will take concrete measures in regards to subsoil users that do not provide information on the annual program of purchase of commodities, works, services and reports on conducted purchases.
