Kazakhstan President to take part in inauguration ceremony of new Turkmen leader

Astana. February 14. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the ceremony of the inauguration of the new leader of Turkmenistan today, the agency reports referring to the official mass media of the Republic. The Kazakhstan leader arrived in Ashkhabad where he held the meeting with the Tajik leader Emomali Rakhmonov. The delegations of 30 countries are expected to take part in the solemn ceremony. According to Turkmenistan.ru, the delegation of Kazakhstan is headed by the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the Ukraine - the President Victor Yushchenko, Tajikistan - the President Emomali Rakhmonov, Georgia - the President Michael Saakashvili, Afghanistan - the President Hamid Karzay, Iran - the President Mahmud Ahmadinezhad. The delegation of the Russian Federation is headed by the Chairman of the government Michael Fradkov, Turkey - the Prime Minister Redzhep Tayip Erdogan, Azerbaijan - Prime Minister Arthur Tair-ogly Rasizade, China - the special representative of the Chairman of the Peoples Republic of China, the Vice President of the permanent committee of the Chinese assembly of national representatives Ismail Aymat. Among invited - the representatives of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, the USA, Libya, Egypt, Qatar, Germany, Japan, Spain, Vatican, Canada, and a number of international organizations. According to RIA Novosti, today the new Turkmenistan leader will swear an oath in the presence of the visitors and more than 2.5 thousand members of the national council. Later, the new President will make brief speech and the Minister of Defense will report to the new supreme commander in chief.
