Nazarbayev, Korean PM discussed economic cooperation of two countries
Astana. May 14. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Khan Syn Soo discussed the questions of economic cooperation of two countries, the agency reports referring to the president's press service on Tuesday.
According to the press service, during the meeting the parties discussed the questions of economic cooperation of two countries, including in oil-and-gas sector. Kazakhstan will welcome active participation of the Korean business in industrialization of the country, creation of new innovative manufactures and technologies.
The Korean Prime Minister supported expansion of economic cooperation with Kazakhstan and as a whole with the Central Asian region.
"The Prime Minister passed the Kazakhstan leader the message of the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung- Bak. The message contains invitation to visit South Korea. Nursultan Nazarbayev accepted the invitation with gratitude and invited the President of Korea Lee Myung-Bak to Astana," the press service informs.
The leader of the state congratulated the leadership of the leading party in the Republic of Korea Hannara on convincing victory in the recent parliamentary elections and Khan Syn Soo on appointment to the post of Prime Minister of the country.
"I hope your rich political experience will promote improvement of Kazakhstan-South-Korean relations," N. Nazarbayev said.
