Astana. May 15. Kazakhstan Today - Foreign trade turnover of Kazakhstan from the beginning of the current year has increased by 39 %. The Minister of Industry and Commerce Vladimir Shkolnik informed on Wednesday, the agency reports. "In the first quarter of 2008 the country has reached positive results in foreign trade," the Minister emphasized. In January - March, volume of foreign trade turnover increased by 39 % and reached $22.9 billion. Thus, V. Shkolnik noted that positive balance of trade made $9 billion and has increased by 2.4 times in comparison with parameters of the similar period of 2007.
