Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in use of atomic energy and outer space develops positively - Nazarbayev
Astana. May 26. Kazakhstan Today - Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of use of atomic energy and outer space have been developing positively, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev stated on Thursday.
"We note positive changes in the field of peaceful use of atomic energy. Owing to this cooperation our countries have an opportunity to become large actors in this developing market," N. Nazarbayev said at the joint press conference with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the leader of Kazakhstan, cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of outer space exploration is developing.
"Two important agreements in this area (outer space exploration) have just been signed, N. Nazarbayev said.
"Much attention has been given to contractual-legal base, concerning social security of Kazakhstan citizens living in Baikonur," the President of Kazakhstan added.
