Tax revenues in Almaty deviated from forecast by 12 %
Almaty. June 2. Kazakhstan Today - Tax revenues in Almaty deviated from forecast by 12 %. Akim of Almaty Ahmetzhan Esimov informed during the meeting with businessmen on Friday, the agency reports.
"Receipt of taxes has decreased by 12 %, or by 40 billion KZT, 26.9 billion are customs payments," A. Esimov noted.
According to akim of the city, industrial production for May 1, 2008 has decreased by 8.6 %, wholesale trade has decreased by 34 %, commissioning of housing has decreased by 39 %, and bank crediting in comparison with I quarter of the last year has decreased by 41 %.
"Reduction of wholesale commodity turnover by 34 % is directly connected with significant falling of consumer capacity of the population of the city. This tendency is observed as well in the sphere of services," A. Esimov explained.
