Kazakhstan Today - General Director of JSC Exploration Production KazMunaiGas (EE KMG) Askar Balzhanov considers that the companies delivering oil to domestic market should have export customs duties privileges. He stated his opinion during the session of the council of KazEnergy Association, the agency reports. "We consider that with introduction of export customs duties privileges, the companies should be differentiated and oil companies delivering oil to domestic market should have export customs duties privileges," A. Balzhanov told. "The government needs to hold direct negotiations with subsoil users that at present do not fall under export customs duties privilege category, to increase their royalty rate," EE KMG chairman considers.
