Astana. June 10. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan prices of enterprises-manufacturers of industrial products in May, 2008 grew by 8.8 %, the agency reports referring to the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan. According to Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, prices increased in mining industry - by 9.5 %, processing - by 8.2 %, in the area of manufacture and distribution of electric power, gas and water by 1 %. "Prices and tariffs for power resources for the month have increased by 8.5 %, oil by 9,6 %, mineral oil by 6.9 %, natural gas by 6.7 %, gas condensate by 6.3 %, coal by 3.7 % and electric energy by 1.7 %," the department specified. According to Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, in metallurgical industry for the last month prices have increased for ferroalloys - by 49.8 %, rolling ferrous metals - by 11.1 %, copper - by 3 % and prices for precious metals have decreased by 8.3 % and raw aluminum - by 1.8 %. The articles of food made in Kazakhstan for the last month have risen in price by 2.6 %. Cost of vegetable oil has increased by 7.3 %, bread became more expensive by 6 %, tea - by 4.6 %, wheat flour - by 2.6 %, and sugar - by 2 %. Fish has increased in price by 14.6 % and meat - by 2.5 %, Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan noted.
