Education Ministry to shift to 12-year schooling in 2010 - Tuymebayev
Astana. June 11. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan plans to shift to 12-year schooling in 2010. The Minister of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Zhanseyit Tuymebayev informed during the meeting with Senate deputies on Tuesday, the agency reports.
"During this time we should prepare not only material support, but also new standards, textbooks, and methodical manuals. It is a huge work of state importance," the Education Minister noted.
