Businessmen of Kazakhstan and France to create Business Council
Astana. June 13. Kazakhstan Today - Businessmen of Kazakhstan and France will create Business Council. The Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning Bakhyt Sultanov informed the agency.
"Besides the concluded agreements and memorandums in transport, power and nuclear spheres, the important decision accepted during business-forum Kazakhstan - France was creation of Business Council that will include the largest businessmen of two countries having working experience with the government," B. Sultanov has told.
The activity of Business Council will be carried out within the work of the Kazakhstan - French Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. Meetings of businessmen will be held twice as often than at the intergovernmental level.
"The accepted decisions, in our opinion, are capable to give powerful impulse to intensification of economic cooperation and a reciprocal visit of the President Sarkozy to Kazakhstan planned for the spring of the next year. We plan to prepare a new package of agreements and contracts with the specific projects," B. Sultanov noted.
"This will make us able to reach the goal of doubling commodity turnover between Kazakhstan and France defined by both Presidents at the last year's meeting at the UN Assembly session," he added.
