Nazarbayev calls upon Japanese businessmen to invest in industrially-innovative manufactures in Kazakhstan
Astana. June 20. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev calls upon Japanese businessmen to invest in industrially-innovative manufactures in Kazakhstan. The President made a statement on Thursday during reception of the Kazakhstan delegation and the Japanese business leaders in Tokyo, the agency reports.
"I call upon you to invest in Kazakhstan and suggest considering our country as base for access to other neighboring big markets of Russia, China, Central Asia, Iran, Pakistan, and Caucasus," the President of Kazakhstan addressed the Japanese businessmen. Thus, the leader of the state added that "the market of the neighboring countries, according to the assessments, can take in more than five hundred million people."
The leader of the state emphasized that "nowadays wide spheres of action are available for investors in Kazakhstan owning to modern technologies and manufacture." "We consider Japanese companies serious investors," he said.
"We are ready to support all important stages of realization of projects in Kazakhstan," the President assured. In particular, as he said, institutional support will be carried out through holding Kazyna specially created for these purposes, which possesses all financial tools. "State holdings Samruk, KazAgro, and the state regional social-industrial corporations are ready to become your partners," he noted.
As a whole, for the last years Kazakhstan attracted nearly $70 billion direct foreign investments.
