July prices for articles of food in Kazakhstan grown by 29.3 %
Astana. July 2. Kazakhstan Today - In Kazakhstan prices for articles of food in June, 2008 in comparison with the corresponding accounting month of 2007 have grown by 29.3 %, the agency reports referring to Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan.
According to Statistics Agency, "prices for flour have increased by 80.8 %, rice - by 63.8 %, bread - by 46.2 %, and groats - by 18.2 %."
Prices also increased for oil and fat - by 67.7 % and dairy products and eggs - by 34.2 %. Prices for fruit have increased by 29.1 %, vegetables - by 20.5 %, and confectionery products - by 15.7 %, the agency informs.
According to Statistics Agency, "prices for meat and meat products for this period has increased by 22.5 % and fish and sea foods - by 16.5 %. Price of poultry has grown by 29.4 %, horsemeat - by 28.8 %, mutton - by 20.4 %, sausage products - by 20.3 %, and pork - by 19.3 %."
