Uniform tax on real estate to be introduced in Kazakhstan - Masimov
Astana. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan will introduce uniform tax on real estate, combining land tax and property tax. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during the meeting in the Ministry of Finance, the agency reports.
"I know that the working group on development of the Tax Code discussed the question of combining of land tax and property tax into the uniform real estate tax," K. Masimov said.
"We need to finish the work on formation of land cadastre and to introduce an effective mechanism of market real estate assessment or to develop a precise mechanism for real estate assessment for tax purposes," the Prime Minister emphasized.
"I charge the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice and other interested bodies to introduce in the government up to the end of 2008 corresponding proposals," he said.
