Kazakhstan Security Council approved national security strategy

Astana. February 21. Kazakhstan Today - The Security Council of Kazakhstan approved the strategy of the national security for the nearest years. The Secretary of the Security Council Berik Imashev informed today at the briefing after the session of the Security Council under the presidency of the Kazakh leader, the agency reports. Today at the session of the Security Council the strategy of the national security for the nearest years has been considered and approved, B. Imashev informed. According B. Imashev, the strategy "directs the state bodies towards active work of formation of the constructive and safe environment - external and internal, the use of available and potential opportunities of the state bodies to promote the interests of Kazakhstan both in the Central Asian region and all over the world. "On the basis of the strategy the President's acts regarding military doctrine, system of modernization of the arms and special services of Kazakhstan in the near future will be accepted, the Secretary of the Security Council said. The government along with the Security Council will supervise the performance of the strategy. In his turn, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan Galym Orazbakov added that during the discussion of the project of the strategy the question of formation of new military-technical policy has been raised.
