Kazakhstan Today - The chairman of JSC Company Kazakhstan Holding for Management of State Assets Samruk, Kanat Bozumbayev, reported the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, on the results of the work of the state holding for the first half-year, the agency reports referring to the president's press service. During the meeting K. Bozumbayev informed the President on the results of the work of the group of companies Samruk for the first half-year of the current year and the prospects of development of the holding. He informed on the course of realization of large investment projects in railway industry, in particular, construction of locomotive factory, the project of modernization of electric locomotives, and creation of new carriage assembly manufactures in Ekibastuz. The chairman of the holding told the President about the projects carried out in the area of electric power industry: Balhash hydroelectric power station and Moynak hydroelectric power station.
