Astana. August 14. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held today the meeting on the results of activity of JSC Company Fund of Steady Development Kazyna for 6 months of 2008, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service. On behalf of the President of the country the government has developed and approved by the decree of November 6, 2007 the Plan of actions on maintenance of stability of social and economic development of the country. Fund Kazyna has been defined as an operator for realization of the state stabilization programs. Special attention of the fund is focused on realization of three key directions of the Plan with attraction of the affiliated organizations, the banks of the second level and business-community: compensation for deficit of funding of the building sector and protection of the rights of equity holders of under construction housing in the cities of Astana and Almaty, support of the initiatives of small and medium business through a branch network of the banks of the second level, and support of subjects of agriculture. Part of the projects is realized within the limits of the program of 30 corporate leaders.
