Director of Department of State Asset Management of the Ministry, Ilona Shvartskopf, informed the agency. "The main goal of the Law on State Assets is improvement of control system over state assets," I. Shvartskopf said. "The bill provides for division of the state property - republican and municipal, which, in turn, is divided into the levels of property of oblasts, regions, and rural districts." Our objective and key goal - to make process of state assets management transparent, clear and effective," she concluded. I. Shvartskopf said that the bill will be introduced in the Parliament up to the end of 2008. "The ecologists have established that Karachaganak gas processing factory has burnt more amount of gas than it was allowed. Almost 10 thousand tons of harmful chemical substances have been emitted to the air," the telechannel informs. Damage to the nature has been estimated in almost two billion KZT. "The claim about elimination of infringements of the law and acceptance of measures of compensation for damage has been submitted to the Western Kazakhstan regional territorial department of environment protection. Karachaganak Petroleum Operating Company has compensated 943 million KZT."
