ThyssenKrupp AG is interested in becoming investor and partner of Kazakhstan
Astana. August 19. Kazakhstan Today - ThyssenKrupp AG is interested to act as an investor and a partner in Kazakhstan, the agency reports referring to the prime minister press service.
According to the press service, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, met the representatives of German company ThyssenKrupp AG headed by the chairman of the board, Ekkehard D. Schultz.
During the meeting the parties discussed prospects of further development of cooperation in the area of investments in development of innovative manufacture. The German delegation has positively assessed investment climate in Kazakhstan.
According to K. Masimov, Kazakhstan is interested in investment proposals of the company. "The government of Kazakhstan supports development of innovative technologies. We hope that ThyssenKrupp AG will become a good partner for Kazakhstan," the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan emphasized.
Company ThyssenKrupp AG has taken part in construction in Kazakhstan of silicon factory for manufacture of metallurgical silicon. ThyssenKrupp AG has its branches in 75 countries of the world. About 200 thousand employees work in the company. Annual turnover of the company totals $75 billion.
