Kazakhstan shows interest in Saudi business participation in industry development

Astana. February 22. Kazakhstan Today - The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Kayrat Lama Sharif met the Secretary General of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce Dr. Fahd Bin Saleh Al Sultan in Riyadh on Wednesday who stated that our countries have wide prospects for mutually advantageous cooperation in the sphere of small and medium entrepreneurship, Kazakh MFA press service informed the agency. During the talks the Ambassador K. Lama Sharif noted that the Kazakhstan party is interested in a more active participation of the Saudi business in development of industry of Kazakhstan with attraction of the newest technologies. The parties agreed that the effective tool of achievement of the set objective would become the second session of the Kazakh-Saudi business council, which is scheduled for spring, 2007 in Astana. The Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce is the association that includes 21 regional commercial and industrial chambers and 168 thousand companies and firms of the Saudi Arabian Kingdom.
