New state standards of technical education to be developed in Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev

Rudny. August 22. Kazakhstan Today - New state standards of technical education will be developed in Kazakhstan. The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said at the International labor forum in Rudny, Kostanay oblast, the agency reports. "The system of social protection of students will be reconsidered, 45 new educational institutions and 41 hostels will be constructed, size of students' grants will be increased, and new state compulsory standards of education will be developed with participation of employers," N. Nazarbayev said. "Having recognized the importance of this problem, the state has already started to make steps in this direction." The government has developed and approved the state program of development of technical and vocational training for 2008 - 2012," he said. The purpose of the state program is modernization of all system of technical and vocational training. More than 55 billion KZT have been allocated for realization of the first stage of the program.
