Almaty. August 26. Kazakhstan Today - The delegation of the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast held negotiations with the largest companies in Seoul, the agency reports referring to Kazakhstan Embassy in South Korea. According to the Embassy, the delegation headed by deputy akim, Yerlan Nurlanbayev, made a presentation on investment possibilities of the oblast in the office of the company POSCO Engineering&Construction (division of metallurgical giant POSCO). Thus, the company management has expressed interest in expansion of cooperation with the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast. Businessmen of the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast and the representatives of the leading Korean companies in the sphere of agriculture, food production and medicine took part in the presentation, the press service informs. The Kazakhstan delegation visited objects of digital media city (Digital Media City). "This project is being realized by the Seoul city administration with participation of foreign and domestic investments for creation of the uniform system of digital service of the population of Seoul (the Internet-banking, shops, cinemas, etc.) with application of the newest information technologies," the message of the Embassy informs. During the visit and with participation of Kazakhstan Ambassador, Darhan Berdaliyev, the protocol on intentions to establish friendly relations between the Eastern Kazakhstan oblast and Northern Kensan Province was signed.
