III Eurasian Energy Forum KazEnergy opened in Astana
Astana. September 4. Kazakhstan Today - III Eurasian Energy Forum KazEnergy on Global challenges - energy solutions opened in Astana with participation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, the agency reports.
The chairman of association KazEnergy, Timur Kulibayev, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Mehmet Hilmi Gul, and the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan, Sauat Mynbayev, addressed the delegates and visitors of the forum with salutation words.
The work of the forum is thematically divided into two plenary sessions. The first session will be held today and will be devoted to global energy challenges and Kazakhstan strategy of development of oil-and-gas and energy spheres.
The main topic of the second session that will take place tomorrow will be the nineteenth World Petroleum Congress held in Madrid in July, 2008.
II Eurasian Energy Forum KazEnergy was held in Astana in September, 2007. More than 250 delegates, representatives of state bodies, chairmen of oil-and-gas and energy companies, leading experts and analysts from various countries of the world took part in its work.
