Income forecast for Republican budget for 2009 defined at more than 2 trillion KZT

Astana. September 12. Kazakhstan Today - Income forecast for the Republican budget for 2009 has been defined at the sum of more than 2 trillion KZT. The Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning, Bahyt Sultanov, informed during presentation of the bill of the Republican budget for 2009 - 2011 in Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan on Thursday, the agency reports. "The income of the republican budget for 2009 has been forecasted at the sum of 2 trillion 199.4 billion KZT without taking into account transfers that are higher than in 2008 by 35.6 billion KZT," B. Sultanov said. The income will increase in 2010 and 2011 compared to the previous year by 262 billion and 339 billion KZT accordingly. The Minister of Economics noted that conditional losses of the republican budget as a result of changes in the tax laws, including for the next year by 534.5 billion KZT - due to changes of rates of taxes, cancellation of taxes, in particular, royalty, export customs duties and other factors have been considered in the forecast. Additional receipts in connection with replacement of royalty with tax on extraction of minerals and optimization of tax privileges have been considered as well. "Guaranteed transfer from the National Fund in the Republican budget has been increased to compensate losses connected with changes in the tax laws. Transfer in 2009 will make 843 billion KZT, in 2010 - 1 trillion 76 billion KZT and 1 trillion 12 billion KZT - in 2011," B. Sultanov informed.
