Kazakhstan Today - The national report on steady development of power engineering of the Republic will be published in Kazakhstan next year, the agency reports referring to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). "The national report on steady development of energy in Kazakhstan that will be published next year will demonstrate how well this strategy has been realized," UNDP press release informed. The publication of this document will instigate discussion in the Kazakhstan society of the problem of effective utilization of alternative resources and energy sources for stable development of the national economy. As it was informed earlier, the Ministry of Environmental Protection develops the project of strategy - Effective utilization of energy and alternative resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for stable development till 2024. The main goals of the project of the strategy are creation of the normative-legal base for energy saving, effective utilization of renewable resources and energy sources, toughening of ecological requirements, development of international cooperation in the sphere of use of renewable resources and alternative energy sources, and carrying out of information policy in questions concerning resource-and energy saving.
