Chemical industry cluster to be revived in Kazakhstan - Nazarbayev

Taraz. October 9. Kazakhstan Today - Chemical industry cluster will be revived in Kazakhstan. The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, said during his working trip to Zhambyl oblast, the agency reports referring to the press service of akim of Zhambyl oblast. "The leader of the state said that chemical cluster will be revived. Today the agrarian sector is in need of mineral fertilizers. Now 600 million tons of mineral fertilizers are consumed by India and China. Kazakhstan needing 2.6 million tons consumes only 200 thousand tons," the leader of the press service of akim of Zhambyl oblast, Sanzhar Tlepov, informed. "The leader of the state noted that about $5 billion will be invested in the chemical industry of Kazakhstan. "In connection with revival of chemical cluster the centers for training of experts for the chemical industry will be opened. 15 thousand people will receive jobs. He added that "in connection with revival of chemical cluster such small cities of Zhambyl oblast, as Karatau and Zhanatas will be revived as well.
