Astana. October 10. Kazakhstan Today - The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan and Canadian company Bombardier Transportation GmbH (BT) signed Memorandum of Mutual Understanding in Astana, the agency reports referring to the official site of the Kazakhstan government. "The ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Mutual Understanding took place in Astana with participation of the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Ahmetov, and Canadian company Bombardier Transportation GmbH. The memorandum has been signed by Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Kasymbek, and Bombardier Transportation GmbH vice chairman Chris Antopolus," the message informs. "The parties expressed intention to develop cooperation taking into account the competence of the parties and current legislations and agreements in following spheres: long-term development of rail transportation in Kazakhstan and restoration of park of passenger railway carriages," the document informs.
