Nazarbayev held meeting concerning development of chemical industry
Taraz. October 10. Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held the republican meeting concerning development of the chemical industry on Thursday, the agency reports.
The meeting took part in the building of Novozhambyl phosphoric factory (Zhambyl branch of Open Company Kazphosphate). According to the press service of akim of Zhambyl oblast, the enterprise manufactures yellow phosphorus and phosphorous-containing production. Total area of the factory makes 645 hectares.
70187 tons of yellow phosphorus, 41929 tons of orthophosphate acids, and 46521 tons of sodium tripoliphosphate were made at the factory in 2007. In total, the factory manufactured the products for 15.7 billion KZT. Index of physical volume made 109.4 % in 2006. Products of the factory is imported to Poland, Germany, Czechia, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Japan, India, Iran and other countries.
For 9 months 2008 the factory has manufactured the products for 24.5 billion KZT that is in comparison with the similar period of 2007 makes 142 %.
The factory employs 2585 people with the average wages 50532 KZT.
The factory Kazphosphate is engaged in extraction of phosphate ore, its processing, release and realization of ready raw material and production for the chemical enterprises and consumers.
