Income from oil sector to make 28 %

Almaty. February 27. Kazakhstan Today - In 2007 in Kazakhstan the income from oil sector will make 28 % off the total profit. Vice Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of the Republic Berdibek Saparbayev said today during the round table on the review of the macroeconomic situation in Kazakhstan: from a favorable conjuncture to economy diversification and development of infrastructure within the limits of the conference of the international rating agency Fitch Ratings, Kazakhstan Today reports. "In 2006 the income from oil sector made 32 % off the total profits. In 2007 this parameter is forecasted to reach 28 %," B. Saparbayev said. "It demonstrates that other branches are also being developed," he added. "The government will work in this direction to develop other sectors and receive more income from other sectors," B. Saparbayev emphasized.
