Kazakhstan Today - During the meeting the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, and the chairman of the Board of Directors, the President and the Executive Director of Halliburton Company, David Lezar, signed memorandum of mutual understanding concerning cooperation of Halliburton Company with the National company KazMunaiGas, the agency reports referring to the of the prime minister's press service. According to the press service, "following the results of the meeting, Halliburton signed memorandum of mutual understanding concerning cooperation with JSC Company KazMunaiGas and its affiliated companies: KazMunaiTengiz and KMG Service. The meeting participants discussed prospects of development of activity of the company in Kazakhstan, in particular, the projects planned for joint realization and the measures undertaken by the company to increase Kazakhstan participation. The Prime Minister has drawn attention to the necessity of preparation and retraining of Kazakhstan experts.
