Vice Prime Minister held working meeting at metallurgical combine of JSC Company Arcelor Mittal Temirtau concerning anti-recessionary measures

Kazakhstan Today - During the working visit to the Karaganda oblast Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Umirzak Shukeev, held working meeting at the metallurgical combine of JSC Company Arcelor Mittal Temirtau on Saturday concerning anti-recessionary measures, the agency transfers.
The parties discussed the question of keeping workplaces. In particular, U. Shukeev and akim of Karaganda oblast, Nurlan Nigmatulin, suggested the companies to consider in short terms the opportunity of realization of the new projects planned for 2009 - 2010. Realization of these projects will allow involving workers who are now on forced vacation.
The parties discussed the projects directed at improvement of ecology and infrastructure of the joint-stock company.
Following the results of the meeting, it has been decided to plan for October 27 of 2008 signing of the quadrilateral memorandum between Arcelor Mittal Temirtau, oblast akimat, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Kazakhstan and trade unions that will include these proposals.
