Astana. November 3. Kazakhstan Today - Fund of stressful assets will purchase from the banks problem assets with discount. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during his speech for the Senators, the agency reports. "The government made a decision on November 1 on creation of Fund of stressful assets with current capitalization of 52 billion KZT," K. Masimov reminded. "The fund will purchase from the banks certain kinds of assets, but not at the initial cost, but at a more conservative discount price," he emphasized. "This will enable the banks to use the resources for crediting the economy," the Prime Minister considers.
