Kazakhstan Prime Minister ordered to accelerate realization of project on expansion of Ekibastuz state district power station-2
Astana. November 3. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, ordered to accelerate realization of the project on expansion of Ekibastuz state district power station-2. He gave the assignment on Saturday during the government session to the chairman of the board of the fund Samruk - Kazyna, Kayrat Kelimbetov, the agency reports.
"The agreeemnt on the state district power station-2 was reached with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, that the Russian party in this or that form will finance 50 % of this project," K. Masimov said.
The chairman of the board of the fund Samruk - Kazyna, K. Kelimbetov, confirmed the reached arrangement on acceleration of financing of the project on expansion of Ekibastuz state district power station-2 by the Russian party.
As it was informed earlier, the Kazakhstan-Russian joint power enterprise has been created on the basis of JSC Company Ekibastuz state district power station-2. The Inter Russian United Power System and Samruk - Kazyna - JSC Company Samruk-Energo own 50 % of shares.
