Program on recapitalization of banks to come to an end in Kazakhstan
Astana. November 11. Kazakhstan Today - The program on recapitalization of banks in Kazakhstan will come to an end one of these days. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed during the selector government meeting on Monday, the agency reports.
The Prime Minister informed that advisers of the government and the Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna concerning recapitalization of banks are Credit Swiss Bank and JP Morgan Bank. We attracted into this program all the best international practice in the world, such as Credit Swiss Bank that was the adviser of the government of Great Britain and JP Morgan Bank that was the advisor of the Ministry of Finance of the USA."
K. Masimov reminded that the governmental decree on creation of Fund of stressful assets was signed on November 1, 2008. The arrangements that the adviser of the government of Kazakhstan on creation of Fund of stressful assets will be City Bank, which has enough experience in the world on development of such projects, have been reached."
