National Bank reduces minimum reserve requirements since November 18 - Saydenov
Almaty. November 12. Kazakhstan Today - The National Bank of Kazakhstan reduces its minimum reserve requirements since November 18. The chairman of the National Bank, Anvar Saydenov, informed today during the press conference, the agency reports.
"Since November 18, minimum reserve requirements will be lowered under internal obligations up to 2 %, under other obligations - up to 3 %, the current - 5 % and 7 % accordingly," the chairman of the National Bank said.
As it was informed earlier, the National Bank plans to make a decision on reduction of minimum alternate requirements in October. "I think that the board of the National Bank on Friday, October 24, will make final decision. In any case there will be a reduction," the chairman of the National Bank said.
