Modernization of tax system of Kazakhstan to be completed in 3 years - chairman of Tax Committee
Astana. November 17. Kazakhstan Today - Modernization of tax system of Kazakhstan will be completed in 3 years. The chairman of Tax Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan, Daulet Ergozhin, informed at the award ceremony of the best tax payers of Kazakhstan in the interview to journalists on Friday, the agency reports.
"We have already signed the agreement with the World Bank on modernization of tax system. It will be completed in 3 years. The program on reengineering of the information system and its coordination with the international standards will begin next year," D. Ergozhin said.
Answering the question on stimulation of tax payers, he noted that good stimulus next year will be the new Tax Code that assumes improvement of tax administration, decrease in tax burden for the enterprises engaged in non-raw sector of economy, and other changes initiated for the newly created holding Samruk - Kazyna," he added.
"We are now working on simplification of the order of reporting process and regulation of the work of tax bodies so that they do not impede the work of business," D. Ergozhin concluded.
