Kazakhstan Today - Agriculture Ministry of Kazakhstan addressed the Agency on Competition Protection (ACP) of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the request to analyze the situation with price formation for food products in the republic. The Minister of Agriculture, Akylbek Kurishbayev, informed at the session on Thursday. 'At the moment prices for raw materials have dropped. Prices for grain, vegetable oil, and fuel have reduced, which is an important component of production. However, prices for food products remain the same, while in other oblasts have increased," A. Kurishbayev stated. "In this regard we charged the Agency on Competition Protection to analyze the situation, to reveal unfair competition, and to undertake measures on reduction of prices in such companies," he said.
