Astana. November 21. Kazakhstan Today - French company Alstom has expressed interest in assistance to development of the project of high-speed railway communication Astana - Almaty, the agency reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Kazakhstan. According to the press service, the participants of the meeting held under the presidency of Vice Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Kasymbek, discussed the project of development of high-speed railway communication along the route Astana - Almaty. The French company has shown interest in assistance to development of this project. During the meeting the parties came to an agreement to begin development of the feasibility report of the project.
