Government to reconsider three-year budget
Astana. November 24. Kazakhstan Today - The government will reconsider the three-year budget for 2009 - 2011 due to decrease of oil price. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, said at the selector government meeting, the agency reports.
"I charged the Ministry of Economics and Budgetary Planning to reconsider the budget for 2009 - 2011 taking into account oil prices in 2009 - $40 for a barrel, in 2010 - 2011 - $50 dollars for a barrel," K. Masimov said.
"The government guarantees realization of all social programs planned in the budget," he said.
As it was informed earlier, in the middle of September, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan considered parameters of the three-year budget for 2009 - 2011, in particular, the forecast of world oil price for oil of $60 for a barrel for 2009 - 2011 as pragmatic and precise." "Those budgetary parameters, which we have planned in the three-year budget, in particular, tentative oil price of $60 for a barrel seemed conservative, but now oil price demonstrates that we approached formation of the budget very pragmatically and precisely," he emphasized.
