Kazakhstan's share in procurement of goods and services to be increased
Almaty. December 5. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, informed today during the Council meeting of Foreign Investors in Almaty that Kazakhstan's share in procurement of goods and services needs to be increased, the agency reports.
"Following the results of 9 months of 2008, the share of the Kazakhstan procurement of goods and services has not exceed 10 - 15 %," the President of Kazakhstan noted.
The President has criticized the work of the government in this direction.
"I consider that the absence of progress in increase of the Kazakhstan content - the result of the unsatisfactory work of the government in this direction, Mr. Masimov," N. Nazarbayev said, addressing the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
N. Nazarbayev said that the government has not undertaken all the necessary measures in the work with the Kazakhstan producers.
