Work on improvement of business environment in Kazakhstan to be continued

Astana. December 10. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, today at the conference Ways of Improvement of Kazakhstan's Parameters in World Bank Doing Business Rating said that the work on improvement of the business environment in Kazakhstan will be continued, the agency reports. Mr. Masimov said, "Not all the initiatives on improvement of business environment have been considered in the rating Doing Business in 2009." "Nevertheless, in the last report of Doing Business Kazakhstan has been on the 70th place. Our positions have improved by 10 items in comparison with the last year," the Prime Minister explained. "We have focused our work on reduction of administrative procedures and improvement of our positions in such indicators as registration of business, registration of property, issuing licence for construction, international trade, support of investors, and receiving credits," the Prime Minister noted. "We plan to reduce by twice the procedures of opening of enterprises, thus, the cost of these procedures will be lowered by quarter. Fewer than two weeks will be required for registration of the property rights. The cost of this service will be reduced by almost a quarter," he added.
