Kazakhstan Today - Volume of gross agricultural production in Kazakhstan for January - November, 2008 reached 1218.6 billion, which is less by 7.1 % than for the similar period of 2007, the agency reports citing Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan. According to Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, as of December 1, 2008, as compared to the similar period of the last year total number of cattle livestock has grown by 2.8%, sheep and goats - by 5%, pigs - by 1%, horse - by 6%, camels - by 3.4%, and birds - by 10.5%.
