Astana. December 18. Kazakhstan Today - The budget of Kazakhstan can receive less than 150 billion KZT with the oil price at $25 for a barrel. The Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan, Bahyt Sultanov, informed at today's government session, the agency reports. "We have made calculations, which demonstrate that the budget of the Republic can receive less than 150 billion KZT if the oil prices will remain at this level in the world markets for a long time," B. Sultanov said. "Yesterday the OPEC countries made a decision to reduce by 4.2 million barrels a day (since September, 2008) oil extraction, however, it has not affected oil prices," the Prime Minister reminded.
