Aktau. December 25. Kazakhstan Today - KazMunaiGas JSC with its affiliated company OzenMunaiGas extracted 6 million 036 thousand 650 tons of oil in Uzen deposit, following the results of 11 months 2008, that is by 123 thousand 400 tons less than during the similar period of 2007 (6 million 160 thousand 050 tons), the Regional Department of Business and Industry informed the agency. Oil extraction, as of November, 2008, in the deposit totaled 529 thousand 900 tons that is by 49 thousand tons less than during the similar month of 2007 (578.9 thousand tons of oil). Volumes of gas extraction have been decreased as well, which have reached for 11 months of 2008, 248 million 567 thousand cubic meters against 563 million 562 thousand cubic meters during the corresponding period of 2007. In November of 2008, the company has also decreased extraction of gas, having extracted 21 million 826 thousand cubic meters of gas as compared to 24 million 156 thousand cubic meters in November, 2007.
