Growth of GDP in Kazakhstan in 2008 exceeded 3 %
Almaty. January 6. Kazakhstan Today - GDP growth in Kazakhstan, by tentative estimations, in 2008 exceeded 3 %. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed the leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, today during the meeting in Almaty, the agency reports citing the president's press service.
According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev has heard the report of the government and the National Bank on the main results of the work in 2008 and the forecasted tendencies of social and economic development for 2009. K. Masimov informed, by tentative estimations, GDP growth has exceeded 3 %, inflation has totaled 9.5 %, the republican and local budgets have been executed - income part by 99.5 % and expenditure part - by 99 %.
All social obligations of the state in 2008 were realized.
