$1.5 billion invested in six projects in 2008
Almaty. January 9. Kazakhstan Today - More than $ 1.5 billion was invested in 2008 in six important projects. The government report of Kazakhstan published in official mass media states, the agency reports.
On behalf of the head of the state, the analysis and actualization of the important projects have been conducted with the purpose of selection of the perspective projects. The base list of 45 important projects including 28 industrial projects and 17 infrastructural projects have been created. Total cost is about $54 billion.
2 600 workplaces have been created as a result of realization of these projects in 2008. Export opportunities of the country have expanded and dependence of the country on import of some goods and services has been lowered.
