Special commission to start work in Karaganda Arcelor Mittal Temirtau mines
Karaganda. January 9. Kazakhstan Today - The special commission created by the order of Emergency Minister will start its work in Karaganda mines of coal department of JSC Company Arcelor Mittal Temirtau since January, 12th. The chief technical inspector of Arcelor Mittal trade union of coal miners Korgau, Valery Gerasimov informed the agency.
The commission structure includes 11 people: the representatives of the Emergency Ministry, Labor Ministry, the chief engineer of the coal department and other experts.
The commission members will check the course of the actions defined by the governmental commission a year ago - after explosion in Abay mine belonging to the coal department of JSC Company Arcelor Mittal Temirtau.
As informed earlier, on January, 11th 2009 will be a year since the date of death of 30 miners of Abay mine. The governmental commission that investigated the causes of the accident took the measures on increase of safety of work in collieries and introduction of the newest equipment to control gas level in mine working.
