Electronic state purchases saved 22 % of budgetary funds
Astana. January 14. Kazakhstan Today - Electronic state purchases has allowed saving almost 22 % of the budgetary funds allocated for these purpose last year. The Minister of Finance of Kazakhstan, Bolat Zhamishev, informed today during the presentation of the information system of electronic state purchases with participation of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, the agency reports.
"The Ministry of Finance began test implementation of the system of electronic purchases last year through the method of price offers... The effect was quite significant. We saved 21.8 % of the sum planned in the budget for these purchases," B. Zhamishev said.
He reminded, in this connection, the amendments were introduced to the Law on State Purchases last year providing an opportunity for all state bodies since 2009 to make electronic purchases through the price offer method.
